Find The Best is an independent business directory for the UK. We collect publicly available data, analyse it algorithmically, and rank businesses based on FTB Ratings — not payments.

Why we exist

Most online directories allow businesses to pay for better visibility. That means the “top” result isn't necessarily the best — it's just the one that paid the most. We think consumers deserve better.

Our rankings are generated entirely from data: customer ratings, review volume, sentiment analysis, search prominence, web presence, and business tenure. The result is an honest, transparent ranking that puts consumers first.

How it works

We analyse thousands of businesses across the UK, scoring each one on multiple factors and combining them into a single FTB Rating. Businesses are then ranked by score within each location. For full details, see our ranking methodology.

Coverage

We currently cover accountants, estate agents, letting agents, conveyancing solicitors, property surveyors, dog groomers, and tree surgeons across hundreds of UK locations. We're always expanding our coverage.
